dc.description.abstractEn este trabajo se examinan las tendencias del financiamiento agropecuario en México durante los últimos 12 años, además de que se expresan consideraciones con respecto a la política de crédito. El análisis se centra en torno a la política financiera agropecuaria que instrumenta el gobierno federal de México a partir de tres tipos de programas: 1) los dedicados a proporcionar crédito por conducto de las instituciones financieras, como los Fideicomisos instituidos en relación a la Agricultura (FIRA) y la Financiera Rural (FINRURAL); 2) los orientados a otorgar crédito a grupos específicos de productores, fomentar la creación de sujetos de crédito mediante fondos de garantía, así como de instrumentos para disminuir el riesgo, y 3) la creación y fortalecimiento de Intermediarios Financieros Rurales (IFR), con objeto de que se conviertan en la plataforma de primer piso para la operación de la banca de desarrollo. It also expresses concerns regarding credit policies.The analysis focuses in financial agricultural policies operated by Mexico's Federal Government on the basis of three types of programs: 1) programs dedicated to channel credits through finance institutions, such as financial intermediary (institutions) related to agriculture (FIRA) and Rural Financing (FINRURAL); 2) programs dedicated to supply credits to specific producers , encourage credit holders through guarantee funds, as instruments for decreasing risks, and 3) programs dedicated to create and strengthen the Rural Intermediary Financers (IFR), with the objective of creating a platform for operating of the development bank.
