dc.description.abstract	Procura elaborar algunas hipótesis sobre la importancia de la educación para el desarrollo, tomando como punto de partida ciertos datos del censo de 1980 en el Brasil. Destaca la importancia del concepto cultura al plantear un nuevo enfoque que subraya, prioritariamente, la importancia política de la educación, procurando establecer un camino intermedio entre posturas excesivamente socioeconómicas, políticas o autónomas.
