Abstract
The study finds that Martinique has excellent yachting infrastructure and this has contributed to a vibrant sector which is expected to grow at a phenomenal rate. In 2001 yacht visitors contributed US$7.8 million to direct tourist expenditure, compared with US$4.5 million from cruise ship visitors.
