dc.description.abstractEn este boletín, elaborado de forma conjunta entre la CEPAL y la OIT, se presenta un análisis del estado de las licencias de maternidad, de paternidad y parentales en América Latina y el Caribe, y se plantea el desafío de avanzar en medidas como las licencias parentales, para cuidados de larga duración y por motivos urgentes, así como en la reducción de la jornada laboral y la flexibilización de los horarios y lugares de trabajo, como herramientas regulatorias que deben ponerse a disposición tanto de los hombres como de las mujeres, ya que son fundamentales para el ejercicio de la corresponsabilidad, la garantía del derecho al cuidado y el logro de la igualdad de género, al mismo tiempo que promueven la dinamización de la economía.
