dc.description.abstractLa creciente demanda del hidrocarburo no ha sido equiparada con la oferta. Estamos en una crisis energética sin precedentes y los efectos que deriven de la misma serán catastróficos a menos que empecemos a prepararnos para evitar las consecuencias. Al mismo tiempo, estamos en un punto donde la contaminación por las emisiones de carbono (derivado del petróleo) ha llegado a sus límites siendo la principal causa del calentamiento global y resultante del deterioro ambiental a nivel mundial. La apuesta por la investigación debe ser nuestro punto medular para encontrar respuestas viables para ambas problemáticas. Por ello, es importante replantear la concientización de la ética ecológica y enfatizar la necesidad por una diversificación de fuentes energéticas siempre que éstas respeten las costumbres de las comunidades rurales y no alteren negativamente el hábitat de dichas zonas. De ahí deriva la propuesta del proyecto de investigación por una concientización de una ética ecológica y la apuesta de energía limpias a partir del principio de factibilidad, respetando la cultura de cada comunidad rural, para un mejor aprovechamiento de los recursos naturales y un desarrollo sostenible.
dc.description.abstractEngThe rising demand for hydrocarbons has not been met by supply. We are in an unprecedented energy crisis, the effects of which will be catastrophic unless we start to think about finding effective long-term solutions. Moreover, we are at the point where carbon emissions pollution has become the main cause of global warming and ongoing environmental deterioration on a global level. Commitment to research must be the crux of our attempts to find viable solutions to both problems. This is why it is important to reconsider how we can raise awareness regarding ecological ethics and to emphasize the need to diversify energy sources, while respecting the way of life in rural communities and avoiding negative impacts on the habitat of those areas. This is the basis for the research project proposal – raising awareness of ecological ethics and a commitment to clean energy wherever possible, and respecting the culture of every rural community to make the most of natural resources and sustainable development.
