dc.description.abstractEn este artículo se utiliza la metodología desarrollada por Bommier y otros (2010) para elaborar cuentas históricas de transferencias públicas en educación y seguridad social en el Brasil y examinar las redistribuciones financieras que estos sistemas públicos implican para las generaciones nacidas entre 1923 y 2000. Sus principales conclusiones son que la generación actual de viejos ha recibido beneficios netos con las políticas de seguridad social y que, a su vez, la generación actual de adultos se ha visto perjudicada, en términos netos, por haber tenido que financiar la seguridad social y la expansión del sistema público de educación.
