dc.description.abstractEl documento consta de dos partes. La primera de ellas contiene un análisis de los hechos más relevantes derivados de los estudios en torno a las mujeres en edad reproductiva con énfasis, por un lado en el contexto en que se desarrollan los programas de planificación familiar en términos del apoyo institucional y de la incidencia de la anticoncepción como determinante de la fecundidad y, por otro lado, en la información disponible sobre los servicios de planificación familiar con énfasis en la prevalencia anticonceptiva y las necesidades insatisfechas a la luz de las preferencias reproductivas.
