In India, just as in Latin America and the Caribbean, international trade plays an important role.However, the bilateral relationship has much scope for growth .-- III. On a global scale, Latin America and the Caribbean are important recipients of foreign direct investment, while India has seen an increase in these flows in recent years .-- IV.
