dc.description.abstractPresenta la idea de que los elementos claves para una reestructuracion socioeconomica de America Latina compatible con el servicio de la deuda son dos: i) los paises deudores deben seguir procurando lograr economias mas eficientes, con mayor competitividad internacional y mas capaces de generar exportaciones y de sustituir importaciones; y ii) el clima externo debe prestar apoyo e incentivos a tales esfuerzos como un financiamiento adecuado, menores tasas internacionales de interes real y mayor impulso a la exportacion de los paises latinoamericanos, por la via de mayor crecimiento de la produccion y del comercio internacional de los paises industrializados.
